Data Accuracy and Published Corrections

Every figure on this site comes from a government record, and every record published here is reviewed for personal information before it goes online. When an error is found, it is corrected in public and logged on this page rather than quietly edited away.

How corrections work

• Numbers, dates, and dollar amounts are taken directly from the Borough of Hopatcong OPRA response, July 2026, or from another agency's records obtained the same way.
• Any figure that is modeled or estimated is labeled as an estimate and shown alongside the documented figure it is based on.
• If a record is later superseded or clarified by the agency, the change is noted here with the date it was made.
